THE DAY FINALLY ARRIVED, APRIL 12, 2022. then it was gone in a flash and I was left staring up at the clear blue sky. I had taken off the rose-colored glasses. I think what I was experiencing was the gravity of the situation. For the first time, in as long as I can remember I was free of prison and any supervision. This is horrible for one that has always had people telling me what to do and where to do it in the time allotted. This was so ingrained in my thinking that to make a decision on my own was just beyond comprehension.

Thankfully during the time I was in prison and had meaningful federal supervision I made some good decisions about the things that mattered most of all like buying a place to call home. I am not sure how it all come together but God’s hand was upon it. more than anything it was the vision that I have held. The people who helped and hindered me were drawn into my life for a time, an opportunity to learn from each of them, some stayed some came and went much like migrating geese flying north in the spring. My job was to learn from them and put to use what I could use and leave behind the things that I couldn’t. Each of these people holds a dear spot in my life and hopefully, they each know how much I apricate them today. I am not going to list them by names as I do not wish to embarrass them or call unwanted attention to them but I rest assured they each know who they are, I just want them to hear how much I am indebted to them, they are modern-day saints.
