Drawing wider circles

When I first came up with the name of this website, I was thinking of one of my favorite all-time people, Socrates. Now take a sheet of paper and draw a circle on it. Is the circle small or large? If it was small that is a sign that you have limited your consciousness awareness, if it was large then that is indicative of an expansive consciousness. Now I want you to put a dot as near to the center of the circle as you can. This dot represents your point of awareness in what I call collective consciousness or universal mind. Here you are the center of your world. The circle represents the limitations that by your thought, you have placed on the Infinite that lives through you.

Remove the circle (erase it) now it does not matter what size the circle was, only a dim trace of where your past self-imposed limitations were. There is only a dot remaining on the paper. This is how Socrates defined man-the center of a circle without a circumference.

The way I had to enlarge my thinking was by continually drawing wider circles. It was too much to just erase the circle completely. I begin by drawing a wider circle and filling it with Infinite Life. We will see this is not a new idea as in Isaiah 54:2 it is written:

“Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations; spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.”

There is a law of life that should be remembered, write this where you continually have it before you. That which you can conceive of, believe in, and confidently expect, must become your experience.

Just like erasing the circle you first drew it is up to you to erase those old limiting beliefs about yourself. It is up to you to change your life and that comes by changing your habitual thought. If you listen to the world around you, your allowing the world to draw a circle of its own choosing around you.   Socrates said: you are the center of a circle without a circumference, now that’s DRAWING A WIDER CIRCLE!

The nature of God is a circle of which the center is everywhere and the circumference is nowhere.
